Dr. Shayne Baylis received his first degree, a bachelor of science in Biology, from Niagara University. He later graduated with honours from the New York Chiropractic College now known as Northeast College of Health Sciences.

Dr. Baylis is thoroughly involved in hockey from instructing, coaching, mentoring, treating injuries and playing. He was drafted by the Ottawa 67s in 2000 and thus, has a soft spot for Ottawa in his heart. He has been a Chiropractor since 2008 who does a combination of chiropractic, physio, and acupuncture with his treatment.

Certified Techniques include Active Release Technique, Graston, Manual Adhesion release, medical acupuncture, Functional Range systems and Conditioning, Primordial Strength Systems, etc
Dr. Baylis has also been very involved in concussion management, treatment and baseline testing through Impact Canada, Concussion Nerds, Shift concussion, Vestibular rehabilitation, Integrated Brain Therapy, and R2P concussion management programs. Using these protocols, supported with specialized binocular testing by optometrists, he has been treating concussion cases through a functional neurology lens with great results.

Dr. Baylis’ functional approaches to solving health and mobility issues are seen on every visit for acute and chronic pain sufferers. He focuses on clinical excellence and customized treatment plans where diagnosis must fit the treatment. He prides himself on delivering results!
